Taipei, Taiwan, September 21st, 2022 –ASROCK RACK, the leading innovative server company, today announced its presence at NVIDIA® GTC 2022 - where enterprises and AI experts will showcase how AI and the evolution of the 3D internet are profoundly impacting industries and society as a whole.
The 1U4G-ROME and 2U4G-ROME/2T are 1U and 2U NVIDIA-Certified Systems™ supporting quad GPUs with PCIe 4.0 technology. The 1U4G-ROME is certified for the NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core PCIe GPU, which fully utilizes the 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes from a single AMD EPYC 7003/7002 series processor. Beyond 4-GPU support, the 1U4G-ROME is equipped with two additional riser cards for PCIe 4.0 x16 low-profile add-in cards, enabling higher-bandwidth NIC expansions. For storage, the 1U4G-ROME supports eight pieces of EDSFF E1.S to maximize IOPS with better thermal efficiency, while offering the flexibility for PCIe4.0 x4 22110 and 2280 M.2 modules by ED_M2W_G4 adapter cards. Despite using up 128 lanes, 1U4G-ROME does not compromise the manageability and still has BMC AST2500 for IPMI and Intel i350-AM2 for 2 GLAN. The 2U4G-ROME/2T is a more economical solution equipped with five 2.5" drive bays, additional one PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion and OCP 2.0 NIC mezzanine slot. The 2U4G-ROME/2T has not only been certified for NVIDIA A100 40GB and A30 Tensor Core GPUs, but also qualified for the active-cooling NVIDIA RTX™ A6000. As NVIDIA-Certified Systems, these servers have been optimized for the best performance on GPU-accelerated workloads, as well as validated for key capabilities in manageability, scalability and security.
Furthermore, ASRock Rack 4U GPU rackmount server solutions, such as 4U8G-ROME2/2T, 4U10G-ROME2/2T, 4U8G-ICX2/2T, and 4U10G-ICX2/2T, have all been qualified for NVIDIA A100 80 GB, NVIDIA A100 40GB, A10, and A30 Tensor Core GPUs, NVIDIA A40 GPUs, and NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs. The ASRock Rack 4U8G and 4U10G series offer greater serviceability and more flexibilities towards users with different configurations including OCP NIC 3.0, FHHL PCIe expansion slot, and NVMe/SATA drives, with the ability to pull out the drive cage and reconfigure the slimSAS cables as needed. The 4U8G and 4U10G series also come with both front and rear management and LAN ports for different use scenarios. In addition, the 4U8G-ROME2/2T, 4U10G-ROME2/2T, and 4U10G-ICX2/2T have achieved NVIDIA-Certified Systems status with the NVIDIA A100. With NVIDIA Ampere architecture-based GPUs, the ASRock Rack servers are able to accelerate AI training, machine learning, and provide the uncompromising performance needed to meet deep learning, big data analytics, and demanding AI workloads.
